Marbella
Old Town
Partially surrounded by the ruins of an old Arab wall with narrow white washed streets, old churches and squares, as well as lots of fascinating shops and boutiques.
At the heart of old town is Orange Square which dates back to 1485
and is surrounded by whitewashed houses and three historical buildings - the town hall, the old governor's house and the Chapel (Hermitage) of Santiago. The gardens are full of brightly coloured flowers and orange trees and
are surrounded by several small cafes and bars.

Mijas
One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of
Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside
above Feungirola.
Wander through the narrow cobbled streets of this
picturesque Andalucian village
and browse the craft shops that have some wonderful hand made pottery,
paintings and prints by acclaimed local artists.
There are many restaurants dotted around the
village, horse and
carriage rides and traditional dancing by local
people in the village square.

Feungirola
Zoo
Wander through this simulated tropical forest, lush with vegetation, rivers and waterfalls, you'll see crocodiles basking on the sandy shores of the Nile, Sumatra tigers bathing besides Angkor Wat, lemurs playing around an ancient Baobab tree and, if you're brave, bats flitting around abandoned mines.
Wherever you look in this pioneer zoo, the only thing between you and the animals are natural barriers like bridges and riverbanks, or bulletproof windows that allow you to get right up close, even to razor-sharp crocodile teeth.

Granada
When the Romans colonised southern Spain, they built their own city here and called it
Illibris. The Arabs, invading the peninsula in the 8th century, gave it its current name of Granada.
It was the last Muslim city to fall to the Christians in 1492, at the hands of Queen Isabel of Castile and her husband Ferdinand of Aragon.
Visit the fantastic Alhambra Palace within
a couple of hours drive of the apartment. We
would recommend telephoning to book in advance.
